LC Gathering
Alvin also showed us a powerpoint presentation NLDS and of his experience of going through the elections and why he chose AIESEC to be a part of his life. Way to go, Alvin.
We also had a guest speaker from Australia, Alex Lobov. He shared with us many interesting about Australia. Did you know that Melbourne was once the capital of Australia from 1901-1927? Yeah, I did not know that too. He also shared his wonderful experience he had with AIESEC so far. He motivated us saying failing is never a total failure as you always learn and gain experince from it. Thanks Alex!
AIESEC members enjoying Alex's presentation
Then we had a break. A little breather. People mingled, shared jokes, laughed, made new friends. while some were hard at work preparing for the next session.
Then we had a discussion about GLOBAL WARMING. Watched a short video of the movie, An Inconvenient Truth. Groups were formed followed by discussions and presentations. Truly a knowledgeable session. You never know how much pollution is reduced if you just increase the air-con temperature just by 1 degree celcius.
As you can see, we had a blast. It was amazing. Thank you to all members who turned up for the gathering and to all who made this a wonderful session.

We made it guys!!! *woo hooo
The journey hasn't ended yet...let's finish it together!
Wonderin' what's going on???
It's because the SN application numbers for 2006-2007 are:
NTU: 55
NUS: 75
SMU: 20
TOTAL: 150
This also means we have a 400% growth in terms of applications compared to the last year! And the INFO TALKS were attended by more than 450 people in all the 3 universities!
Thanks to everyone who made this possible!
We hope to break this record next year!

HEY AIESEC NTU!
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the fellow EBs and members who went down to support Mayas and me at the election yesterday (Jan 20).
Thank you for the WONDERFUL card (It’s so NICE!) and COOL banner that you guys made for me. And also your thunderous applause that truly rocked my heart.
I am elated to be elected, and am looking forward to embarking on a new learning experience with you guys.
Let’s steer AIESEC NTU to greater heights!
Thanks,

NTU IS HOT TO GO...
Don't you wish that your LC is NTU?
I left NTU without my cellphone... Ya right, I left without it...
So i was thinking to myself, where the hell would the LKC be?
I was patiently waiting for Mayas at the McD as we agreed one day before... * Man, I was so nervous.. and my makeup is melting... *
I was scanning the Canteen A with my panda eyes, hopefully to find someone that I know.. gosh, where are all my friends?
Suddenly I saw this one person, walking like those ah beng, listening to her mp3, walking down the canteen... OH MY GOSH, that's my boss SHARON TAN.... Finally I found someone to save me... Yeah...
Man, I never fancy walking up/down the stairs in heels... And yes, NTU has so many staircases to climb up and down...
When I saw the LT, i was totally freaked out.. I mean I was prepared for it.. But when I saw it, I said to myself
" Gosh, how am I going to engage the crowd like this?" * nervous, nervous... *
Gracia was our emcee for today.. She looked so pretty, becoming so much more feminine... * I Like It*
Thank you dearie for helping... You rockz..
Aaron was our speaker too... And there he go, the magical 10 bucks game... *I like this guy man, he is definitely one cool @er..*
It's Phoebe's time again...Haha, i think today she was even worst... I think she totally freaked this one guy out " Yes, the gentleman in the lime green shirt.. yaya, it's you.. yes, it's you honey..." Oh my gosh, that guy was totally scared and couldnt believe what he just heard... I guess the audience was shocked too.. I mean what the hell is this lady doing? * Oh well, I dont care ya.. but certain level of professionalism is to be maintained*
They said NTU's turnout was better than NUS's one... haha...
The LKC Lecture Theatre is HUGE, i mean 1000pax...
** Ya Ya, we got spirit.. Ya Ya We got Spirit...**
Again, thank you all for being there.. To help with the crowd.. To help with the situation... *Are we cool? Ya dude!!* I was so happy to my NLDS Facis again, Francoise and Dei.... I felt safe with them around... Really I wouldnt have made it without them... thank you, love you all much... *
Once and again, NTU OGX Team you guys have made us proud... Kudo to all of you... Jessie and Mayas have led the team well.. Oh 2 little babies have grown up so much... Our Jessie is becoming even more charming...

Taking those big steps...
That's one of the lessons I learnt from International Congress. Jing Wen was the one who brought it up, so well I think asking the AIESECers from other countries to share means they care about us too, the same as how we care for each other.
Enjoy!!

People always ask me why I join AIESEC. And I ask myself several times as well.
Actually I might not be a really “good case” for you guys since I had met several difficulties in my AIESEC life, and I had considered quitting. I asked myself why I have to spend almost all my time here; I could have more fun for going trip with my friends, or have more time to look for a girl friend. There are several reasons on why I can quit anytime, but there is only one reason that can convince me to stay, that is: I love my society and want to do something for them.
I had so many mentors in my life, and I really appreciate their help. They changed me a lot, to find my own vision and passion for reach my goal. I might not become better without them. And I want to spread their passion. AIESEC, this platform gives me the chance to realise my wish. This is a stage for you and me, to affect people through any thing you want to do, thru your profession, thru your effort, thru your passion. People change because of you and me, future might become better because of you and me.
Almost four years in AIESEC, I learned what and how can I do for my society. I saw people became different in AIESEC, including me of course. I can tell myself that my own choice is please and worthy for me.
Finally, I apologise for my unorganised sharing because there are so many things to share. Hope I could have chance to share with you again. Enjoy!
~ Nick, MCVP PD from AIESEC in Taiwan
I make plan with my lovely member, and we try to make them become reallity.
I command whole that process. It is great experience.
Somebody say it is just one line in my resume.
But LCP changes whole my life.
Some people have already made their steps and they applied for MC 07/08.
MTP starts at 7pm
