And a Taiwanese delegate wrote this to the faci team [which I wish to share to everyone...coz it deeply motivates the facis team]. Don't mind the errors made..but the message itself.

To all faci:

I'm really appreciate all of you.
It's a WONDERFUL conference.
Though we Taiwanese can't understand what you are talking about totally.

But, I really really want to let you guys know:
I really learn alot through these 4 days
I know more about AIESEC [ and also llove @ more!]
I get a lot of different thinking
I meet alot of friends
I know this world more
I know something I don't have and how I can catch it
I know something maybe I don't have the ability to achieve it, but I can still try my best
I know although I can't express myself clearly, there are still alot of people listening to me and c and can share their thinking with me.

Because of my poor English,
I can't describe myself, how I feel clearly...

But... really really thank you.

THANK YOU ALL OF YOU
and
THANK THIS F*CKIN EXCELLENT CONFERENCE!!

My NLDS XP

What else can I say when all these great AIESECers have shared so nicely on their NLDS experience.... miss you all!
"NLDS is the first time i really involved in AIESEC since I joined it this semester. It indeed provide a platform for me to discover and explore a great sky. As a OC, yes, it is very very very tired,4 days sleeped for 17 hours, but.. we also gained a lot. You may think the logistic job is easy to do, but when man power, money and time are limited, we must come out with the most efficient strategy in a short time. It requires us to cooperate and communicate efficiently.

Besides, NLDS is a good chance to meet peope from other countries and know their cultures that you may never find on a textbook.GV is quite impressive for me. I ate a lots from booth to booth like the Korean food, Japanese food as well as Thai, Indonesian, Malay, Indian food. haha

Finally, It is also a chance to get closer with your LC member. Frankly I am so pride to be in NTU LC. It is so strong and solidfied ! Last I want to say deep from my heart: Diana, we love you! We are proud to have you as our LCP!"

By Wang Fang - NLDS Organizing Committee, 1st year member in AIESEC [@NTU]

AIESEC in NTU poses no. 1 - 9 *tee hee

"The highlight for day 3 was Global Village, where everybody from their country brings something from their countries for showcase. We got some from the embassies. too. Where on earth can you see so many precious displays of countries' jewels in a little place? The sights were overwhelming. People were dressed in their most authentic costumes. People were dancing. We were eating, collecting brochures, trying out costumes, listening to introduction. It's the night when you see beauty of the world. It's the night which allowed me to reaslise that differences between cultured are to be appreciated, not to be viewed as point of conflict. So peace, no war, please.

It was an eye-opening experience. I finally understood what does the tagline of AIESEC means. There were literally endless opportunities available in AIESEC waiting for me to discover. There were tonnes of people from all over the globe for me to shake hands with. There were so many things I could do to mature myself. I am lured by the opportunities, yet a bit apprehensive. I don't know if I can manage it. I wonder if I have the capability like the uncles and the other VPs. But I will try. At least for next year, I am going for Hong Kong conference! Hoho"

Global Village... never gonna miss this one!
Thanks OC for making this happened ^^

"NLDS surely will be one of the most precious moment in my life. Just after this NLDS, I opened my messenger and I can't wait to have a chat with all awesome people, u guys!!!

At the beginning I was doubtful whether I'll join this NLDS or not. I was thinking whether NLDS will benefit me or not. Then, I decided to join it because I had said so and I didn't want to take back my words. Another reason is because there is penalty fee for cancellation. =P

But now, I think I would be very regretful if I decided not to join NLDS. All of us are really blessed to have this opportunity. =)

I really hope there are some positive changes in each and everyone of us. A huge thank for all people, OCs, facis, delegates, especially my LC-NTU people...I love you all guys!!!"

Still in post-NLDS syndrome,

"What an impressive experience it was! I’ll be extremely willing to attend the seminar even ten times!!The chair, Francois, always associated every class smoothly with humorous speech or performance. All facilitators always danced energetically and tried so hard to make us understand the meanings of each class. All OCs stayed with us all the time, explained works to us, translated into Chinese if we didn’t understand clearly, solved many problems for us and took us to tour around Singapore. All @ers of NLDS were enthusiastic, patient and did good jobs!!"
Candie Chang - delegate, Taiwan

"Give yourselves a round applause for making NLDS a wonderful experience for all who attended it !I would like to thank each and everyone of you for making this a success, not forgetting my special experience as the one and only Malaysian delegate during the 4 days conference.

Sentosa Getaway...

Stress Stress Stress!!!

After 2 long months of exams, it is finally time for our gathering in Sentosa. There was no better place for us to distress other than the sun, sand and the sea in Sentosa.

The day started with a volleyball game with everyone sweating it out on the sand. Friendships were built during the course of the game, especially with our international @ers, Dennis and Anne. With the cold breeze blowing, we cooled down with the classic game of UNO. It was a good respite after the competitive game we have had.

Yah...bring it on bebe!

The highlight of the gathering was the “information digging” session where @NTU members were asked harsh questions with each question out to embarrass others. As the newbie or so-called little brother of AIESEC family, I got to know my BOSS Sharon and Diana much better.

There were plenty of joy and laughter and allow us to known some never-before-known facts of my AIESEC peers. In between that we got the first ever view of our long awaited LC T-shirt.

We ended the day with the spectacular Musical Fountain in Sentosa where everyone had a “second chance” to refresh their past memories of the show. Despite watching from the sides which I felt was pretty innovative, I enjoyed the show from the sidewalks amidst the trees.

Looking forward to the next gathering.
