JUMPSTART! 06

This year is about making the necessary CHANGES.
Changes are the only constant, and to move forward change is certainly inevitable.

Therefore, we scrapped AIESEC Recruitment Orientation Camp and came up with JUMPSTART! instead. It's our annual National Induction Conference brought up by the MC 06/07.

JUMPSTART! 06 theme was Envision, Explore, Experience. It was held at Sembawang Boys' Brigade Camp from 9-10th September. From AIESEC knowledge-sharing sessions, teambonding sessions, world-issues discussions, to our own AIESEC party, I enjoy the whole thing. Even when we have to stay late on Friday [well, some of us slept at 5.45am though] ... it's great to be able to share with the rest.

JUMPSTART! 06 was chaired by David Liem from Canada who is currently working at Adam Khoo, I think he managed everything well. He has the charm too!! Facis came from MCs, seniors and alumnis. The EBs were there to assist the juniors too. Not to forget that JUMPSTART! wouldn't be possible if the OC wasn't there in the very first place. Well, my real two thumbs up for you all. Thank you so muchhhh..... *hugz
Woo hoo....we rock the house!!!

So, here comes the testimonials from our dear NTU newbies... you guys really awed me with your energy and enthusiasm *grin*. Hope this lasts guys!!

It's all about the people, the people, and the people you know in AIESEC. I was still in the transition stage of adaptation since I came to Singapore just a month ago. However, the positive spirit in AIESEC made me attracted to become a part of them. The Jump-Start National Induction Conference was the first great platform for me to discover what I can benefit the best from AIESEC. I am encouraged and motivated by them.
By the way I wanna buy second AIESEC T-shirt...

Although it was physically tiring for me, but mentally I was very satisfied . The camp gave us a lot of great values of life, friendship and new experiences. In addition, I also 'challenge' myself in the JUMPSTART night. AIESEC Rockzz the house!!
[Nathan Boenjamin]

Hi, just wanted to thank the committee for Jumpstart - in a way, it's helps me in reflecting what I wanted and helping me know more about AIESEC. I also enjoyed the dances that you all had, it shows how energizing and dynamic this organisation really is. ...
[Nicholas Ong]

So, thank you for your inputs and let's aim for a better one next year.
My sincere thanks to everyone for your hardwork!!
Let's bring @ in Singapore to a greater height.

Take care....and yeah, we miss the @ers from NUS and SMU *wink wink
